The Beast is Back: Multispares Racing Hits Round 1 at SMP

The off-season might be “down-time” for some, but for the Multispares Racing crew, it’s been a full-throttle rebuild. After a stunning end to 2025, we’re heading into Round 1 at Sydney Motorsport Park (SMP) with a car that looks—and runs—better than ever.

The Torana’s Major “Glow-Up” The Multispares TCM Torana has been through a rigorous off-season transformation.

We didn’t just give it a quick polish; the car was stripped to its bones.

  • Fresh Interior: The inside has been completely stripped and repainted.
  • Rewired for Reliability: A total wiring overhaul ensures everything is peak performance under the skin.
  • Battle Scars Healed: All the dints from last year’s hard-fought battles have been repaired, with a fresh coat of paint and sharp new signwriting to finish it off.

Momentum from Sandown We’re carrying a massive wave of momentum into 2026. Ryan Hansford and the team finished the 2025 season at Sandown Raceway with undeniable speed. Taking the win in the final race of the year in dominant fashion wasn’t just a victory—it was a statement. We’re ready to pick up exactly where we left off.

2026 Racing Calendar

This year, TCM will be joining the Repco Supercars series for 5 of our 6 rounds, bringing muscle car thunder to the biggest stages in the country.

A Partnership Rooted in History: Victa Joins the Grid We are thrilled to welcome a true Aussie icon to the TCM field. This season, you’ll see the Victa brand on every car in the TCM category.

Founded in 1959, Victa was “The Brand” of lawnmowers during the 1960s and 70s—the exact era when the muscle cars we race today were ruling the streets. It’s a nostalgic match made in heaven.

Keep an eye out for both Victa and Bushranger branding on the Multispares GT4 Mustang throughout 2026 as well! Fan Favorite Status The fans have spoken! In a recent Speedcafe poll featuring over 20 categories, Touring Car Masters was voted the #1 support category people are most looking forward to, taking a huge 24% of the vote. With over 20 cars entered for Round 1 at SMP, we’re ready to give the fans the show they’re waiting for.
