The Multispares NZ Distribution Centre in Arthur Porter Drive, Hamilton is undergoing a major expansion onto adjacent land. When the new building is commissioned in January, the total floor area available for racking will increase to around 5,000 sqm, allowing some distribution activities still operating from our Auckland Branch to be relocated to Hamilton.

Located roughly halfway along the freight rail link between Port of Tauranga and Port of Auckland, Hamilton is an ideal place to receive international shipments and over the past decade has been developing as a major logistics centre. Multispares imports most of its products from major production hubs around the world and we have established an MPI approved transitional container facility at our Hamilton DC to reduce handling and minimise the cost of importation and border clearance.

The proximity of Highway 1 also makes Hamilton an almost ideal location for stock shipments to our branches in the North and South Islands. We despatch stock by road every day and provide a next day service to most parts of New Zealand. We also run vans to provide a same day service to the Auckland and Manukau regions for those products not stocked at our large Auckland Branch.
