Tough start for Hansford

Round 1 of the 2024 Tour¬ing Car Masters series was held recently at Mt Panorama, Bathurst as one of the support categories for the Repco Supercar champion-ship.

With repairs on the Multispares Torana being held up over Christmas, the team only got the Torana back 10 days before Bathurst.

The crew worked long hours and got the Torana prepped and ready. Ryan and the crew went to Queensland Raceway on the Sunday afternoon before leaving for Bathurst and the Torana was fast and felt great.

Welcome to season 2024. Ryan and the team would like to thank Multispares and its partners for their continued support in 2024, the 11 th year of co-branding and racing with Ryan Hansford.

Ryan started racing in his mid-twenties in the local Qld Gemini series. He did some races in Mini’s followed by a season in Super 2 before moving to the very popular V8 Utes, which is where the Multispares involvement commenced.

Ryan Hansford has finished 2nd overall to Steven Johnson in the 2023 Touring Car Masters series after a thrilling final round in Adelaide. The series has come down to the last round for the past 4 seasons. Ryan has finished 2nd three times and won the title in 2022.

Hansford Wins Race 3 and Finishes 2nd Overall at Bathurst
Ryan Hansford and the Multispares Racing team had a standout performance in round 5 at Mt Panorama Bathurst, clinching victory in Race 3, securing a 2nd place overall finish, and significantly closing the points gap to Steve Johnson, who finished 5th.

Ryan Hansford and the Multispares Torana will be competing at Mt Panorama Bathurst this coming weekend, Nov 10, 11 & 12 for round 5 of the 2023 Touring Car Masters series.

Ryan won round 5 at The Bend, and sits 2nd in the series points.

Preview: The Bend with Multispares
The 2023 Touring Car Masters series heads to The Bend in South Australia this weekend for round 4 of the championship.

This is the first visit to the track for the TCM series and whilst a couple of the drivers have driven there in other cars, it will be the first time for Ryan.

The final 3 rounds also include Bathurst and the Adelaide Street circuit. This weekend there are 19 TCM cars and with the NZ TCM cars joining the series for the last two rounds that will swell to nearly 30 cars on the grid.

Round 3 of the 2023 Touring Car Masters series was held at Winton Motor Raceway in Benalla, central Victoria. Ryan Hansford arrived hoping to claw back points from runaway leader Steve Johnson.
