MAN’s Global Service Quality Awards for 2016/2107 saw Heavy Trucks Christchurch, Penske Commercial Vehicles Auckland and Penske Commercial Vehicles Mount Maunganui winning awards for the Asia-Pacific region, taking out first, third and fifth respectively.
This global contest seeks to find the very best workshops in their MAN service network, with all those participating in the competition able to demonstrate their customer service skills and technical expertise across different *rounds*.
Four members make up one team, with teams, then enrolled in the competition, teams come from the different service departments including warehouse, reception, customer service, aftersales, invoicing, warranty, service contracts, workshops, diagnostic, electrics and high-quality aftermarket MAN spare parts.
General Manager of Penske Commercial Vehicles New Zealand John Keenan stated that it was great to see their dealers taking out three of the top five places for the Asia-Pacific region. Mr Keenan added *Particularly Heavy Trucks Christchurch, which has been awarded the best MAN workshop in Asia-Pacific three years in a row. All our dealers adhere to the highest standards of customer service and technical expertise, however, it’s very rewarding to receive this recognition from MAN in Germany*.
2016 had been an amazing year for Penske Commercial Vehicles New Zealand and they were hoping to build on and continue with their successes during 2017 and 2018.
Penske Commercial Vehicles in 2016 secured MAN’s return to the number one spot in the 10,000KG plus bus and coach market segment in New Zealand. When you combine that with the number of MAN trucks sold in the 10,000KG plus market with the coach and bus market, MAN placed first in the premium market and third in the total market. It’s this combination of premium quality MAN product along with top-notch dealers who are providing their customers with excellent customer service and technical expertise that gives their customers the complete customer satisfaction experience. This is a combination of sales, service and expertise you do not find anywhere else.
At the moment the *mystery call* stage of the Quality Service Awards is currently underway. The contests finale will be held in Germany – home of MAN, in June.
