Ryan Hansford has won the 2022 Touring Car Masters series after a tricky weekend at the Adelaide 500. Last year Ryan finished 2nd outright in a nail biter, with John Bowe winning his 6th title. With one race to run in Adelaide Ryan secured his first Australian championship win in his 5th year in TCM.
“Ryan Hansford is the first driver in 13 years without the surname Johnson or Bowe to win the Touring Car Masters series” said commentator & Motorsport journalist Richard Craill.
Ryan arrived at the final round with a 78 point …
The Bathurst International was a successful weekend for Ryan and the Multispares Torana extending his lead in the series from 5 points to 78 points over John Bowe.
It didn’t come easy for Ryan after qualifying 10th on a drying track and having to fight his way forward. The Multispares Torana rolled out of the transporter fast with Ryan lapping only 2 tenths of a second off the all-time TCM lap record in practice 1, clearly the fastest car and .5 sec faster than Steve Johnson in 2nd.
Leading up to qualifying the rain came down so the field rolled out onto …
Ryan Hansford, and the Multispares Torana are heading to Bathurst next week for round 5 of the 2022 Touring Car Masters series.
For the first time this season Ryan is leading by a slender 5 points over fellow Torana driver and 6 time TCM champion John Bowe.
The Mt Panorama track, like Sandown, suits the big horse power 6 Litre Mustangs and Camaro’s however Ryan loves Bathurst and is always the quickest across the top of the mountain. Like in early 2021 when he won Race 3, he just needs to be at the front going up the mountain then build a …

Ryan’s brilliant drive in very wet conditions to win race 3 gave him 3rd overall for the round. Series returnee Adam Bressington (Whiteline Camaro) won the round whilst George Miedecke (Whiteline Camaro) finished 2nd which keeps him 3rd and still in the hunt for the championship.

Great sites with high visibility and easy customer access are hard to find, and certainly worth the wait. Our Mackay Branch has relocated to a new development on the corner of Kumar Close and Maggiolo Drive. Positioned in front of the Aramex operation, this site is designed to accommodate large truck movements and it is just a fabulous facility all round.
With the relocation behind us and with a lot more storage capacity we are now focused on expanding the range of parts we stock locally. Our Mackay staff look forward to greeting customers …
Ryan Hansford and his Multispares Torana head to Victoria’s Sandown Park this coming weekend for round 4 of the 2022 Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters series.
After a successful round 3 in Townsville where Ryan qualified on pole and won both races, he now heads to Sandown only 2 points behind series leader John Bowe.
The Townsville street track layout certainly suited the nimble Torana’s as they finished in the top 3 places whereas Sandown is a power track and will suit the bigger 6 litre engine Mustang and Camaro’s.
“I’ve never had a great result at Sandown for various reasons, but …

In recent years, the demand for supply and support of diagnostic equipment has grown dramatically. Multispares discusses how it has adapted its offering.
In many ways, the role of independent companies in the supply of diagnostic products is now similar to the role they have played with aftermarket parts for decades. The standardisation of communication protocols and the rigour of laws in major economies that prevent any restrictions on access to vehicle systems have opened the door for the development of new diagnostic tools that do everything or almost everything a vehicle manufacturer’s systems can do.
However, these independent systems also offer …
